This Thanksgiving, Republic Bank sponsored and helped serve a traditional Thanksgiving meal at the St. Anthony’s Community Outreach Center in Louisville. The meal served 600-700 residents of the surrounding Shawnee, Portland, and Russell neighborhoods.
At a press conference that preceded the dinner, Republic Bank CEO Steve Trager presented a $3,000 sponsorship check to the staff of St. Anthony’s. Republic Bank became the sponsor late in the process, after the prior sponsor pulled out unexpectedly.
CEO Steve Trager said Republic Bank was honored to assist St. Anthony’s. “As times remain tough for many, we at Republic Bank are grateful for the chance to help St. Anthony’s maintain this wonderful annual tradition,” he said. “Whether through our sponsorship of this meal, or through our time on the serving line, we are thankful to be able to share our good fortune with our community.”
