Raising a Mensch

How do you raise your child to be a mensch (a good person)? What are some easy ways to incorporate Jewish values into everyday life?

The Jewish Community of Louisville’s The PJ Library, The Mothers Circle and Shalom Baby programs are partnering with Jewish Family and Career Services to offer a special parenting workshop, “The Secrets of Raising a Mensch,” for the parents of young children.

This workshop, which will take place on Sunday, February 7, from 10-11:30 a.m. at JFCS’ Roth Family Center, will offer some useful ideas for making Jewish values part of family living. Led by Judith Cumbler and Judy Freundlich Tiell, participants will participate in a conversation about what is involved in raising Jewish children. They will also have the opportunities to share their ideas about programs and services they would like to see offered in the future.

This program is offered free of charge. Babysitting is available upon advance request.
