Middle Schoolers Enjoy Bowling Party

More than 35 Jewish 6th-8th graders spent the afternoon bowling with Teen Connection on Sunday, September 12. Teens from all over the community gathered at Ten Pin Lanes to challenge each other for the high score of the day. Everyone in attendance had a great time with their friends, enjoying food and soft drinks and meeting new people.

The bowling party was the second Teen Connection event this school year and was a great opportunity for local 6th, 7th and 8th graders to get together.

Teen Connection is a youth group for middle schoolers who want to enjoy social, recreational, athletic, cultural and Judaic activities. All events are open to all Jewish 6th-8th graders regardless of synagogue affiliation or Jewish Community Center membership.

The next Teen Connection event, Sunday, October 3, will be “Limos around Louisville.” Participants will embark on a fun, fast paced scavenger hunt around the city in the comfort of a limo.  For information Teen Connection and all this group’s events, contact David Siskin, Jewish Community of Louisville Middle School Director, dsiskin@jccoflouisville.org or 238-2701.
