Merry Mitzvah 2011

Thanks to your support!

During Merry Mitzvah 2011, volunteers provided gifts and meals at several Wellspring Mental Health facilities (Concord House and Crisis Emergency Unit). They also served meals and mingled with clients of Maryhurst Girls Home (thanks to Temple Shalom), the Ronald McDonald House, Cathedral of the Assumption Soup Kitchen, Gilda’s Club (thanks to The Temple Women), Center for Women and Families, St John’s Center and St. Vincent DePaul Open Hand Kitchen.

Another Great Success!

Merry Mitzvah 2009

When the weather gets cold and we look to all we have received through the year in thanks is a great time to turn to helping our non-Jewish neighbors and making their holiday season brighter.

Jewish volunteers assist Louisville agencies to help make the holiday season brighter for those in need. Mitzvah means commandment and/or justice: “we are commanded to do justice.”

MERRY MITZVAH 2009 was a great success!
Watch in early winter for opportunities to participate on 2010.
