March of the Living: Day 7

We had a great Shabbat in Poland, which included a walking tour of the Warsaw Ghetto and culminated in an evening program with our Shalom Polin pen pals. On Sunday — our final day in Poland — we went to the Polin Museum, which pays tribute to the history of Polish Jews. Afterwards, we visited the Jewish cemetery in Poland and finished our day at Treblinka death camp. At Treblinka, all of our participants opened their letters from their families and were so touched by the words that they read.
Sunday night, we left Poland and headed to Israel where we just ate arguably the best breakfast of our lives. We’ll be touring Caesarea and rafting down the Jordan river today.
