Local Fashion Designer’s Fall Show to Benefit CenterStage Acting Out

Frances Lews, owner of Ann DeEvelyn Clothing Company, featured designer of KMAC Couture 2106, and CenterStage Company Member is teaming up with J Arts & Ideas and CenterStage to bring you the most spectacular multidimensional artistic event, Revelations: A Fall Fashion Experience. Guests will enjoy a fabulous display of fashion from local designers as well as original works of visual and performing arts. Angie Fenton of Great Day Live! and Extol Magazine is the event’s emcee and honored guest. The evening will benefit CenterStage Acting Out.

“I cannot be more excited to work on this event with Frances. I attended her show last fall as well as the KMAC Couture Show and was blown away by her work. I immediately knew I wanted to this to be a J Arts & Ideas Event and wanted it to be held at The J,” stated John R. Leffert, J Arts & Ideas Director.

This exciting event is being held on Saturday, October 15 in the Linker Auditorium at the Jewish Community Center. Doors open for VIP Guests at 6:30 p.m. for an exclusive meet and greet with the artists and extended, exclusive shopping with vendors. Doors open at 7 p.m. for general admission guests with a cocktail reception featuring shopping and art exhibition. The Fall Fashion Experience Runway presentation will begin at 8 p.m.

VIP Admission is $75, which includes an exclusive meet and greet with the designers and vendor shopping, open bar, hors d’ oevres and priority seating for the fashion show. General admission is $45 which includes vendor shopping, cocktails, hors d’oevres and the fashion show.

A portion of the proceeds from the evening will benefit CenterStage Acting Out, a professional touring children’s theatre troupe that travels to schools and community venues, presenting educational musical theatre to students of all ages. Through collaboration with educators, Acting Out integrates the performing arts into the learning process, thus enriching the lives of each audience member and “Opening Minds One Act at a Time.” In order to reach as many children as possible each year, CenterStage Acting Out relies on generous funders to underwrite many performances for schools who may not otherwise be able to afford this program.
