Andy Borowitz’s Countdown to Election ’12: Only 538 Days Left – Wednesday May 18, 8:00 p.m. Award-winning satirist Andy Borowitz of the Borowitz Report has been called “America’s satire king” by The Daily Beast.

In what promises to be an irreverent— and certainly one of the earliest— look at the 2012 elections, Borowitz will be joined by the following A-list panel of comedians and journalists:

Susie Essman has played the sassy Susie Greene for all seven seasons of the critically-acclaimed HBO comedy series Curb Your Enthusiasm. Her hilarious bouts of withering sarcasm and uninhibited insults have become her character’s trademark. She has been a veteran of the world of standup comedy for 25 years. She has appeared in her own half-hour HBO comedy special and has made numerous TV and film appearances. She is also the author of What Would Susie Say—Bullsh*t Wisdom About Love, Life and Comedy.

Hendrik Hertzberg is a senior editor and staff writer of The New Yorker. His work is collected in two books, Politics and Obámanos.

Calvin Trillin is a journalist, humorist, food writer, poet, memoirist and novelist.
