Learn to Be an Advocate for Israel from Erez Cohen

Israel is in the news frequently in conjunction with the pursuit of peace with the Palestinians, as the object of vilification from Iran and other, often negative, press. But do you really understand the issues Israel is dealing with and do you know how to defend Israel when it comes under attack.

You’re invited to attend a reception and discussion about Israel with Erez Cohen, the Israel Fellow from the University of Illinois Hillel, on Sunday, November 14, at 5 p.m. at a private home. He is a graduate student in diplomacy at Tel Aviv University. Before his assignment as shaliach (emissary) here, he worked in a community center in Tel Aviv and volunteered as a project manager for educational and medical projects in East Africa.

Cohen will discuss Israel advocacy and grassroots efforts to promote Israel. He will also show you ways you can help.
Food and beverages will be served. A vaad approved option is available upon advance request.

This event is free, but reservations are required. Please RSVP to Paula at pdeweese@jewishlouisville.org or call 618-5302 to reserve your spot and for directions to the event.
