JFCS Seeks Tech-Adept Millenials to Volunteer

[by Kim Toebbe]
Volunteer Coordinator

Jewish Family & Career Services offers many convenient opportunities to make a difference in your community by serving as a community resource. Volunteering with JFCS offers a chance to interact with others with whom you share values, beliefs, concerns and struggles. In volunteering with JFCS, you can learn new skills, cultivate new friendships and enhance your feeling of wellbeing. You will be sharing your good fortune in a way that matters to you.

You may be developing your own career but also looking for more fulfilling extracurricular activities to meet your need for excitement, increased morale or wanting to help solve community problems indirectly or directly.

If you are “tech-adept” and wish to share your skills with those not born with an I-phone in hand, JFCS needs you to help those just learning to use social media, on-line searches and other computer skills.

Please contact JFCS if you are looking for a sense that you are part of a winning team that is making the world a better place through the principles of tikkun olam and want to share your kindness, generosity, helpfulness and inspiration with those in need. Volunteers work collaboratively with “no bosses” to make things happen.
Please call today and ask for Kim Toebbe, volunteer coordinator, 452-6341, ext. 103.
