Shabbos Friends Volunteers Needed
The Doris L. and Theodore Meyers Shabbos Friends Program needs volunteers to visit just one nursing facility on the 1st or 3rd Friday of each month, to share the Sabbath blessings, fresh challah and spiritual joy with Jewish residents living there. Now Offering Wheelchair-Accessible Transportation!
JFCS has a wheelchair accessible vehicle. A round trip fee is just $15. A one-time-only program assessment fee is $50. This service may be used for medical purposes or can be used for errands or more social needs.
