Forty-five people participated in Jewish Family & Career Services’ Family Mitzvah Event on Sunday, March 27. Families assisted staff by organizing Passover food bags, getting them ready for distribution to more than 35 local Jewish families who need help this year.
Family Mitzvah participants also helped organize cans of macaroons for distribution to Jewish seniors.
The Family Mitzvah Event participants also brought food donations for the JFCS Food pantry. In total, several hundreds pounds of food were collected.
