Jewish War Veterans

Membership in the Jewish War Veterans Post 179, which is connected to the organization’s Ohio region, is open to Jewish persons of good character who are citizens of the United States and who were regularly enlisted, drafted, inducted or commissioned, and who served active duty in the armed forces of the United States (including the National Guard and Reserves) in any of its wars, campaigns or conflicts. The person must also have been honorably discharged or released from any such service.
The local chapter had 25 members, but is currently inactive.
