Closings
In honor of Martin Luther King Jr Day, Monday, January 21, Jewish Family & Career Services and Temple Shalom will be closed. Congregation Adath Jeshurun will also be closed and morning minyan will be held at the special holiday time of 8:45 a.m.

School’s Out Day at the JCC
The Jewish Community Center is offering a School’s Out Day Pajama Party for children in grades K-5. Activities run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. with Get Up Gang from 7:30-9 a.m. and Stay N Play from 3-6 p.m. The day will be filled with games, a movie and art projects. The fee is $55, and the member fee is $40. Call 238-2718 to register. (See CenterPiece, page 2.)

Mitzvah Project at The Temple
The Temple will celebrate the holiday by helping to fund and package food for hungry children in the Louisville community and around the world. At 6:30 p.m., volunteers will gather in the Heideman Auditorium for this project.
Each donation of $1.50 will feed six hungry children with Kids Against Hunger packages of highly nutritious, life-saving meals for starving children and malnourished children and their families in developing countries and the United States. The goal of the organization is for its meals to provide a stable nutritional base from which recipient families can move their families from starvation to self-sufficiency.

The Temple’s goal is packaging 5,000 meals for hungry children both here in Louisville and overseas.
Please RSVP to Rabbi David Ariel-Joel or Becky King at 423-1818.
