Jewish Family & Career Services is a nonprofit comprehensive human services organization founded in 1908, serving the entire community with programs focusing on family, work, education, older adults, distressed neighborhoods, immigrants and refugees. Its mission is to strengthen individual, family, work and community life, enhance self-sufficiency, and reflect the enduring values of Jewish tradition. Major program areas include:

Counseling Service

Professional, confidential therapists are able to help with your concerns.

Klein Older Adult Services

Geriatric counselors provide choices for families planning for the future with their aging loved ones and offer older adults various options to help them remain safe, self-sufficient and independent. Services include:

  • Geriatric assessment

  • Caregiver training, consultation and support
  • Senior P.A.L.S. Transportation Service
  • Senior Concierge Homecare
  • Emergency support services funded by National Council of Jewish Women
  • Senior Companions

JFCS sponsors:

  • The Klempner Center, for individuals and family members impacted by addiction
