LOUISVILLE, KY (Sept. 18, 2014) – As many are aware, there is a candidate named Robert Ransdell is running as a write-in candidate for U.S. Senate in Kentucky. Ransdell makes no mystery of his racist and anti-Semitic views. Ransdell posts campaign signs that say, “With Jews we lose.”

The Jewish Community Relations Council of Louisville wants it known that there is no place in American or Kentucky politics for anti-Semitism or racism.  Matt Goldberg, director of the Jewish Community Relations Council, is asking Kentuckians to make their voices heard against hatred.

“Robert Ransdell is well known to be a racist and an anti-Semite,” he said. “We join the loud chorus of voices condemning both his beliefs and his Senate campaign. His candidacy is little more than a way to drum up publicity around his brand of hate. We encourage groups across the state to bar Mr. Ransdell from debates and other official candidate opportunities. We must all send a strong message that anti-Semitism will not be tolerated in Kentucky.”
