JCL Update: April 27, 2012

[by Stew Bromberg]
Vice President and Chief Development Officer

I have found a new home in Louisville.

Whether we rent or own our residence, it is only a place to rest our weary heads at night. Our house may be a place of peace and quiet where we go to escape the craziness of our day, but that does not constitute a home.

It is often said that ‘home is where the heart is.’ But home means so much more. Our home is where we belong. Our home is a place where we contribute to the well being of others. Our home is a place where others care about us and we care for everyone else.

The Jewish Community of Louisville is my new home.

As a community, we provide many services and opportunities designed to help others. There is so much that we can do for each other and for those who are facing desperate times and circumstances. It is our collective responsibility to step up to the plate and help strengthen our community.

My new home needs your support.

As we approach the close of this year’s Federation Campaign, I ask you to step up and make a difference. Help me make my home a place of comfort and joy for all who are part of our community. Help me make a difference as I promise to help you do the same. Together we can accomplish many things, brings smiles to the many faces around us, and helps shape the future of our HOME.

You can still make a difference. DONATE NOW by clicking here, or by calling 502-238-2739.

Thank you.
