The JCC Health and Wellness Department provides a unique set up that offers our members a number of specialized areas that allow you to customize your workouts. We feature two cardio areas, an ab/core and stretching area, a comprehensive Cybex machine circuit room, a dedicated free weight area, an indoor cycling studio, as well as our Life Fitness free weight, machine and cardio area. In addition, we have three racquetball courts, two full size gyms, a TRX station, medicine ball wall and Louisville’s only Sports Wall.
The JCC also offers nearly 100 free Group Fitness classes per week ranging from Yoga, boot camps and Senior aerobics to Cycle, BODYPUMP and Mat-Based Pilates. We also offer specialty programs such as Tae Kwon Do, TRX, Women’s Fitness and our Teen Weight Training program. All of our classes are taught by nationally certified instructors.
If you are looking to jumpstart your fitness program and want a more personal one on one approach to fitness, consider taking advantage of the JCC’s Personal Training and IM=X Pilates programs. All of our Personal Trainers and IM=X Pilates instructors have a nationally recognized certifications and our committed to ensure that you reach your fitness goals, whether it is losing a few pounds or improving your overall strength. All new members receive a FREE 30 minute Personal Training or Pilates session (one per household). Packages are available in 30-minute and 60-minute increments, and if you are looking to train with a friend, give our two person, one hour personal training a try.
