JCC Orchestra Presents Pictures at an Exhibition

The Jewish Community Center Orchestra invites the community to a concert, “Pictures at an Exhibition,” on Saturday, April 30, at 7:30 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center. They will be performing Ravel’s arrangement of the Mussorgsky work of that name, accompanied by visual images of the pictures that inspired the music.

In addition, the concert will include Schubert’s Overture to Rosamunde, a sentimental favorite of Music Director Aaron Boaz. In 1990, The Overture was the first piece he ever conducted with the JCC Orchestra. At that time, he served the ensemble as Assistant conductor.

Jennifer Diamond will be the featured soloist that evening.

Tickets are $10 for JCC members and seniors, $8 for students and $12 for non-members. WUOL is the media sponsor for this concert.
