Passover offers a wonderful opportunity to share some Jewish traditions with non-Jewish neighbors and colleagues, and to teach them a little bit about Judaism.
Hillel took advantage of this opportunity by conducting an interfaith Seder on Tuesday, April 12, at the University of Louisville’s Interfaith Center.
About 30 students from a variety of faith communities were joined by staff members from the Lutheran, Catholic and Methodist churches participated in the Seder, led by Rabbi Robert Slosberg.
The program also included a Passover meal, complete with matzah ball soup that was prepared by the staff of the Interfaith Center.
Hillel is a program of the Jewish Community of Louisville and Tzivia Levin is the Hillel Director.
