Heaven Hill Distilleries to Receive Chase Award from the Louisville Vaad Hakashruth

The Louisville Vaad Hakashruth invites the entire community to an evening of elegant kosher dining on Sunday, July 15, at 6 p.m., at the newly renovated grand ballroom of the Louisville Hyatt Regency Hotel. At this dinner, the Vaad will present the Chase Award for outstanding dedication to kosher observance to Heaven Hill Distilleries.

In recent years, interest in kosher food and beverages has grown exponentially. Kosher food is now a multi-billion dollar segment of the food industry. In fact, in 2011 kosher was named the fastest growing segment in the entire food industry. The Louisville Vaad has created KLAS – a new symbol dedicated expressly to the designation of kosher liquor and spirits. Heaven Hill has joined the Vaad as the first partner in this kosher venture.

At the dinner, there will be a choice of chicken stuffed with artichoke and sun-dried tomatoes for $37, roasted salmon with mango chutney for $36, slow roasted beef brisket for $39 and portobello Napoleon with balsamic glaze for $29. All dinners come with salad, dessert, tea and coffee. A complimentary toast will also be provided with some of the many Heaven Hill products now supervised by the Vaad.

To reserve your place at the dinner, please mail reservations and payment to the Louisville Vaad Hakashruth, P.O. Box 5362, Louisville, KY 40255.
