What is the Jewish Community of Louisville without our community? Enrich and expand your life and connect with Louisville’s Jewish community by taking an active role. There are many ways to make a difference and every one is important!

Join a JCL Committee
Commitees provide real time input and guidance from the community at large on how the JCL can best serve and enrich the Louisville Jewish community. Every person brings a unique perspective and together we can focus where it matters most – but we need you! Click here or call Sara Wagner at (502) 238-2779 to express an interest in joining a committee.

Contact the Community Relations Council
The JCL’s Community Relations Council (CRC) is the vehicle through which the Jewish community is represented in the greater Louisville community in discussions, activities, programs and coalitions with others that help to improve inter-group relationships and protect human rights. There are many opportunities to participate. Click to find out more.

Attend a Shalom Louisville Newcomers Event
Shalom Louisville is an innovative outreach program designed to welcome our newcomers; Jewish and interfaith families and individuals who have recently moved to Louisville as well as newcomers to Judaism. Shalom Louisville welcomes them through bagel brunches, dessert tastings and other social events.
