Four Courts at Cherokee Park was founded as the Jewish Community Federation-supported Louisville Jewish Home for the Aged in 1949 and is currently owned by Signature HealthCare. Nestled in the lush, rolling hills between Seneca and Cherokee Parks on 12 wooded acres, the center offers a warm, caring, home-oriented setting designed to serve the comprehensive needs of senior adults in a culturally enriching atmosphere.
The facility provides the community’s seniors with a continuum of care – from intermediate to skilled nursing home and rehabilitative care – along with a complete program of activities. Four Courts’ physical structure has won several national interior design awards.
In addition to the finest medical care, seniors enjoy innovative programming designed to satisfy their psychological, social and religious needs. The facility maintains a kosher kitchen and celebrates all Jewish holidays with traditional foods and programming. The facility utilizes the services of area rabbis. Special events often become celebrations when residents invite family members and friends to join them for dinner.

Here is another message. Mom’s health had in 2008 was a hip replacement,2011 she had her gallbladders remove, 2017 she had several breaks on her vertebrae. She is bedfast and have good memory. She is blind with cataracts and not able to remove them. She is not able to get into a wheel chair. She will have to be bedfast the rest of her life.
