YAD (Young Adult Division)

Are you looking for a way to connect with other Jewish young adults in Louisville?  YAD is the young adult division (ages 22-45) of the Federation. We are men and women from many backgrounds, with diverse interests and talents.

We host programs and events ranging from leadership development to educational to social and beyond, where you can meet others in a welcoming inclusive environment.

Some initiatives include:

  • First Friday Shabbat Dinners- gather with others and celebrate Shabbat with a delicious meal
  • Leadership Development
  • Sports Leagues
  • #MyShabbat

Past Events Include:

  • Poolside Shabbat
  • Kickball Team
  • Happy Hours
  • Hikes
  • Hanukkah Party

There are opportunities to connect with other Jewish families with young children through PJ Library.
