2016 Annual Campaign

Description: Join other Jewish young adults and meet Benji, the new Young Adult Director, on Saturday night the 30th for this beautiful tradition as we mark the passage from the holy Shabbat to the work week. Light appetizers, drinks, and old camp tunes provided.

Join us for our annual telethon as we solicit contributions from our Jewish community that will embolden the programs and agencies we care so much about. We are STRONGER TOGETHER!

Sammy Schulman grew up in Louisville and today is the CFO of the Miami Heat, and was one of the original members of the organization. He works on contracts with players and sponsors and he was part of the core team responsible for the construction and financing of the new American Airlines Arena.
In Louisville, Sammy’s father, Stuart Schulman, was very active with the Jewish Federation and served as the director of its endowment program. Following his father’s example, Sammy has been an integral part of the Jewish Federation of Broward County since 2001.
Sammy will share stories of the Miami Heat and the NBA, and also why being a Jewish leader is important to him.

Women’s Event with special guest speaker Jane Weitzman

Special Guest Speaker – Jane Weitzman.

Jane serves on the executive committee and boards of UJA of Greenwich, The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, and 70 Faces Media. She is on the Trust Board of Boston Children’s Hospital and the board of the Greenwich JCC. She is also vice president of programming at the Jewish Book Council.
