Interfaith devotional and educational program organized by The Salaam Network in coordination with The Temple (Congregation Adath Israel Brith Sholom). Held during Ramadan, the program will include the perspectives on
sacred fasting from scholars of Islam, Judaism and Christianity. Music and chanting from the three Abrahamic religions bring to life the spiritual message of fasting. For Iftar (breaking of the fast) after the program, a dessert reception
will be provided by The Temple Women of Reform Judaism/Sisterhood.

- Sr. Jeana Visel, OSB (Faculty, St. Meinrad’s Seminary and School of Theology)
The Salaam Network is an interfaith group of educators, peacemakers, artists and supporters from a wide range of backgrounds. The Network is committed to building bridges of understanding and harmony from a knowledge-based foundation. The word salaam is an Arabic word that means peace, good will and wholeness and is often used in greetings.
