Temple Day at Bernheim Forest

The fourth annual Temple Day at Bernheim Forest,
sponsored by the Brotherhood, at the Bernheim Arboretum and
Research Forest, a 14,000 acre arboretum, forest,
and nature preserve located 25 miles south of Louisville.
10:00—Gather at The Temple to caravan to Bernheim
10:45—Meet at Bernheim Visitor Center
11:00—Welcome by Temple member Tom Block,
great grandson of Isaac W. Bernheim.
Buffet lunch $8 per person – Lunch includes: sandwich,
salad, fruit, and a beverage – Vegetarian options available.
Most of the food will come from Bernheim’s Edible Garden
11:30—Special Bernheim tour
12:45—Lunch at Visitors’ Center
1:30—Forest hike, playground, or walk through arboretum
3:00—Meet at Visitors Center for Brotherhood ice cream or soft drink
