Join us this evening as we welcome Speechwriter, Sarah Hurwitz. Sarah will be discussing her best-selling book: “All Along: Finding Meaning, Spirituality, and a Deeper Connection to Life–in Judaism (After Finally Choosing To Look There)”.
A renowned political speechwriter rediscovers Judaism, finding timely insights and profound spiritual connections in its ancient practices and ethical traditions. Sarah Hurwitz served as a White House speechwriter from 2009 to 2017, starting out as a senior speechwriter for President Barak Obama, and then serving as head speechwriter for First Lady Michelle Obama. She also served as a senior speechwriter for President Obama’s 2008 campaign, chief speechwriter for Hillary Clinton during her 2008 presidential primary campaign, deputy chief speechwriter for Senator Jon Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign, and she practiced law in Washington, DC. Sarah is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard law School.
