Keneseth Israel and PJ Library are co-sponsoring a free event at KI on Saturday, December 5, from 6pm-7pm. The event is especially designed for interfaith couples and families, but all are welcome. Preschool and elementary school-age children will make their own Shema pillowcase to take home. Kids should come in their PJ’s. While the children are doing their crafts, the adults will have an interactive discussion about interfaith marriage, led by Aaron and Jana Pedowitz and facilitated by Rabbi Michael Wolk. A family-friendly dinner will be served.
