Matanot L’Evyonim 2019

March 21, 2019 @ 8:00 am - April 30, 2019 @ 5:00 pm

On Purim, when we dress up and rejoice in the Purim revelry, we celebrate how the actions of Queen Esther, just one person, created positive change and transformed the Jewish future. To honor Esther’s legacy, you too have an opportunity to care for others.

Through the Purim tradition of Matanot L’Evyonim, The Jewish Federation of Louisville will be collecting monetary donations through the end of April 2019 to support the good work of Kentucky Refugee Ministries, Inc.

KRM is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing resettlement services to refugees in order to promote self-sufficiency and successful integration into our community. Their resources and counseling to future Americans have positively impacted so many people, helping them become positive contributors to Louisville and our wonderful neighbors.

Their vision, much like ours, is centered around core values to change our world by bringing people together to discover, connect and flourish. Join us in the Jewish tradition of Welcoming the Stranger by giving to this worthy cause.
