March of the Living 2020

WHAT?: THE MARCH OF THE LIVING is a 2-week international, educational program that brings 12,000+ Jewish teens from all over the world to Poland on Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Memorial Day, to march from Auschwitz to Birkenau, the largest concentration camp complex built during World War II, and then to Israel to observe Yom HaZikaron, Israel Memorial Day, and Yom Ha’Atzmaut, Israel Independence Day.
Among the goals of the “March” is for high school juniors & seniors to learn the lessons of the Holocaust and to lead the Jewish people into the future vowing Never Again.
WHEN?: April 19-May 3, 2020
WHO?: Emotionally mature 11th & 12th graders during 2019-20 school year.
HOW MUCH?: The total cost of the program is $6650 per participant. The Jewish Community of Louisville will be providing subsidies, to be announced at a later date.
HOW TO APPLY?: Fill out the below form and pay the $500 fully refundable deposit. Deadline for applications is October 22, 2019.
