Louisville Melton August Class: Jewish Answers to Life’s Most Challenging Questions (4-week course).
“When dealing with life’s hardships and disappointments, when the suffering is overwhelming or the loss is devastating, many people ask themselves questions like: Why do good people suffer? Why is there so much evil in the world? Is everything that happens pre-ordained? Can’t God make a miracle for me?” The course is based on “Where’s My Miracle: Jewish Traditions for Dealing with Tragedy” by Rabbi Dr. Morey Schwartz, International Director of the Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning.
Class schedule: Tuesdays – August 10, 17, 24, 31 from 4 – 5:30 p.m. on ZOOM. Classes taught by Deborah Slosberg.
Fee: $100 (includes book and supplemental materials.)
