An outstanding speaker, writer and educator, Rabbi Danya Ruttenberg is the author of Surprised By God: How I Stopped Worrying and Love Religion. She was also nominated by the Sami Rohr Prize for Jewish literature and a Hadassah Book Club selection, the editor of The Passionate Torah: Sex and Judaism and Yentl’s Revenge: The Next Wave of Jewish Feminism, and co-editor, with Rabbi Elliot Dorff, of three books on Jewish ethics.
She has been recognized as on of 10 rabbis to watch by the Daily Beast and Newsweek, on of the 36 Under 36 (36 most influential leaders under age 36) and one of the top 50 most influential women rabbis.
Rabbi Ruttenberg lives in the Chicago area and teaches and lectures nationwide.
