THE FOURTH WINDOW

Virtual Special Event: Ranen Omer-Sherman, JHFE Endowed Chair in Judaic Studies at the University of Louisville, will moderate a discussion with film director and civil-rights activist, Yair Qedar and Nurith Gertz.  Gertz is Professor Emeritus of literature and film at the Open University of Israel, has served as section head in the film and television department at Tel Aviv University, and is the founder of Sapir College’s Culture, Creativity and Production Department and directs its graduate program. Gertz, a longtime friend of Amos Oz, is most recently the author of a bestselling book about their four-decade friendship, serves as our guide in the film, The Fourth Window.
