Kosher Deli Day @ KI

January 10, 2016 @ 11:30 am - 3:30 pm

We are bringing back a beloved Jewish deli for one day only. Join us for a New York-style kosher deli lunch as KI transforms into the Nosh Box, one of Louisville’s former deli restaurants. Enjoy corned beef and pastrami sandwiches, Dr. Browns sodas, and all those home-made deli sides you love – potato salad, coleslaw, egg salad, pickles, and more. We will also be selling deli meat by the pound to take home with you.

Original Nosh Box owners Les Naiman and Mark Suna will be there in person running the restaurant just like in the old days. Plus, noted author Ted Merwin will be there talking about his newest book, Pastrami on Rye: An Overstuffed History of the Jewish Deli. Learn more about Ted on his website,www.tedmerwin.com.
