Did you know that Judaism has a holiday all about animals? Along with new years such as Rosh Hashanah and Tu B’Shevat (the new year for the trees), there is a holiday called Rosh Hashanah La-Behemot, the New Year for the Animals. Come learn more about where this holiday comes from and what it can teach us about respecting and caring for the pets, livestock, pollinators and many other animals under our care.
