Broadway Backstage: Max Clayton – The “Chorus-star!”

September 10 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

The Jewish Community of Lousiville is delighted to partner with our friends at The Osher Marin JCC (San Rafael, CA) and other program partners to bring you Broadway Backstage.

Let our JCC colleague Program Director & Broadway/opera instructor James Sokol sneak you in the Stage Door to go “backstage” on Broadway! A different, special guest theater professional – who brings his/her unique expertise, experiences and insights to the discussion – will be featured at each of these exclusive, behind-the-scenes visits. Live Q&A and photos/video clips (when available) will enrich the experience.

Your ticket purchase helps support not only our program but also our special guests – theater professionals – who are mostly or completely out of work.

Come learn, off-stage, what makes the magic happen on-stage!

Max Clayton – The Chorus-star (Sep 24)

More than a “chorister,” Max Clayton has emerged as one of the premier, most in-demand chorus boys of Broadway – a “chorus-star!” After his Broadway debut in On the Town, Clayton went on to be in the ensembles (and, in some cases, the understudy for the leads) in the revivals of Gigi and Hello Dolly! and in Something Rotten!, Bandstand, Pretty Woman, and, most recently, the hit Moulin Rouge!
