Please join Adath Jeshurun to welcome Murray Toborowsky, Shabbat Scholar. Murray’s topic of discussion will be: “Why were the Jews the first to offer prayers after the death of Lincoln? Who was the rabbi that spoke at the memorial for Lincoln in Washington, D.C. on April 19, 1865? Who was the Jewish doctor who was first to examine Lincoln after he was shot? Was Lincoln Jewish?”
