Today’s movie is: “Mama’s Family: Mama’s favorites Season 1”. The hapless Harpers give new meaning to the term “nuclear family” in Season 1. Nothing is easy after son Vint (Ken Berry) and his brood move in. The Kwik-Keys locksmith marries Mama’s next-ddor “floozy” neighbor, Naomi (Dorothy Lyman), which brings out the worst of the Harper clan at the home ceremony. Vicki Lawrence, who personally selected these episodes, offers her own fresh on-camera insights at the start of each show to enhance your appreciation of what made Mama Harper tick, and what ticked her off. Approximately 175 minutes.
