Adath Jeshurun’s Kabbalat Service & dinner

January 26, 2018 @ 5:45 pm - 8:30 pm

Join us this evening for a Kabbalat Shabbat service followed by a delicious dinner catered by A Full Plate and AIPAC guest speaker, Adam Teitelbaum’s topic is “Combatting BDS.”

What is BDS?  – Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) is a Palestinian-led movement which has emerged to stigmatize and delegitimize the State of Israel. BDS proponents seek to drive a wedge between Israel and the rest of the world, and to isolate Israel politically and economically by punishing those who work with the Jewish state. On college campuses, BDS works hard to create skepticism in the minds of students about Israel’s legitimacy.

Adam currently serves as AIPAC Leadership Development Director. Adam is responsible for the strategic development and oversight of AIPAC’s highly-acclaimed campus efforts and their positioning within the larger pro-Israel political movement. Working with students is Adam’s greatest passion. Come hear what AIPAC is doing and what we can all do to help combat these alarming tactics.
