In 2019 the Jewish Community of Louisville and the Filson Historical Society embarked on an exciting preservation project: digitizing the complete chronicles of Louisville’s Jewish Newspaper, Community. Join the Filson’s Curator of Jewish Collections, Dr. Abby Glogower and Curator of Digital Projects, Danielle Spalenka for a discussion of the digitization process and a hands-on tour through the new, fully searchable online Community archive.

Additional remarks by Dick Clay, President and CEO of the Filson Historical Society, and Sara Wagner, President and CEO of the JCL.

Special thanks to the Louisville Jewish Archives Committee for their tremendous work enabling us to reach this milestone.
