Dreidels, Bikes Spin for Kentucky Special Olympics at Cycle for Good

JCC members and visitors will do more than just spin dreidels this Chanukah, they’ll be spinning wheels with JCC cyclists nationwide at Cycle for Good on Dec. 14, a few days before Chanukah.

Cyclists can rent a bike for $25 an hour from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and participate in up to four back-to-back classes. Many participants will seek sponsorships to raise even more funds for the cause, Special Olympics Kentucky.

Tara Stone, assistant director of membership and wellness, will be riding a stationary bike in the lobby of the JCC for the entire four hours to raise donations.

“Members usually bring me water and talk to me during the hours on the bike,” Stone said. “It’s a lot of fun.”

Non-members will be able to visit the JCC Dec. 13 and 14 with free guest passes available.
