CenterStage Academy Delights with production of The Little Mermaid, Jr.

CenterStage Academy wrapped up a successful run of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Jr. this month.

All three shows – April 10 and two on the 13th- sold out, and additional seats were added.

The show featured 18 youths ranging in age from 8 to 14 years old and was directed by Jordan Price and Frank Goodloe. The youth cast had worked on the full-scale production since October.

“A huge thank you to everyone who made CenterStage Academy’s first full production of The Little Mermaid, Jr. a huge success. Thank you to all the cast members for your hard work and talents and to all the parents for you hard work,” said John Leffert, CenterStage Artistic Director.

The academy is a youth theatre arts program specializing in quality training for the child performer in singing, acting and dancing — the only one of its kind in Louisville.

The next production is Seussical Jr. for youth ages 7-17 years old, with rehearsals starting in October and public performances on April 23, 25 and 26, 2015. To enroll today, call 502-238-2763.
