Celebrate Chanukah with PJ Library at Barnes & Noble

For the first time in many years, Barnes & Noble in the Paddocks will have a Chanukah celebration. The community is invited to join PJ Library and Shalom Baby to celebrate Chanukah with Barnes & Noble on December 7.

Books for Shalom Baby participants and preschoolers will be read at 10 a.m. and books for elementary aged PJ Library children will be read at 4 p.m.
Snacks, crafts and give-aways will make this truly an exciting Chanukah party.

Barnes & Noble manager Timothy Barnett is very excited to host PJ Library and is ordering extra Chanukah books just for the occasion. He was also thrilled to hear that PJ Library and Barnes & Noble are both featuring the same Chanukah book this season, “Honeyky Hanukah” by Woody Guthrie.

Barnes & Noble is special ordering Woody Guthrie’s Chanukah song for the Shalom Baby/PJ Library celebration, and this book will be available for purchase if your child did not receive it as the November book selection. It will be read at both story sessions.

PJ Library of Louisville will also receive a percentage of all purchases made in the Barnes & Noble Paddocks location on Sunday, December 7, and of all online purchases made from December 7-12. Simply mention “Louisville JCC” at checkout, present the coupon from the ad in CenterPiece on page 3, or go on line to BN.COM/bookfairs and enter code 11501756.

If your child or grandchild is not yet registered to receive free Jewish books and CDs, sign-up on line at pjlibrary.org.
