On Thursday, December 16, at 8:15 p.m. come to Adath Jeshurun as Live at the 92nd Street Y presents Miriam’s Mosaic: Diverse Women of the Rabbinate. The program will feature a panel of pioneering women from diverse backgrounds who have entered the clergy, including, Rabbi Dianne Cohler-Esses, Cantor Angela Buchdahl and Rabba Sara Hurwitz.
They will discuss the challenges they faced and what they bring with them from their Syrian, Asian-American and Orthodox backgrounds. Rabbi Diana Gerson, Program Director for the New York Board of Rabbis, will moderate this program. Admission is $10 per ticket.
