The 2010 Republic Bank Golf Challenge was a smashing success. On June 21, 108 golfers descended on southern Indiana’s Chariot Run Golf Course for a tournament to benefit Jewish Family & Career Services and the Jewish Community of Louisville’s Jewish Community Center. In its seventh year, the tournament raised money for both agencies, although the final net figure is not yet available.

“The weather was hot and humid, but nothing stopped the teams from having a good time. We also had another successful year of raising valuable dollars for the two agencies,” noted Reed Weinberg, tournament chair. At the end of the day, the U.S. Voice and Data team of George Pacinelli, Mike Nole, Dennis Meiman and Larry Levenberg won first place.

Coming in second was the Republic Bank team of Lisa Butcher, Carol James, Sean O’Mahoney and Dave Richerson (photo not available). Taking third place was the Goldberg and Simpson team of Howard Wagner, Steve Smith, Gail Pohn and Rick Frank.
