Grades 1-5 • July 14-18 | Coach Mark Catlett
Campers will be introduced to the game of lacrosse. Special emphasis will be placed on promoting a solid understanding of how to play lacrosse by focusing on the fundamentals skills and basic rules of the game. Campers will learn how to throw and catch with a lacrosse stick. They will also learn how to shoot, scoop ground balls, dodge and score, as well as basic defensive skills.
Grades 1-5 • July 28-August 1 | Instructor Coach Mark Catlett
Play football scrimmages and participate in drills and contests while learning and improving your football skills including passing and catching. Campers will learn about character, leadership, sportsmanship and work ethic in this camp.
Wiley Brown Basketball Camp
Grades K-2 • July 14-18 | Grades 3-8 • July 7-11
Learn the fundamental skills of basketball such as ball handling, shooting, offensive and defensive drills! In addition, each camper will have an individual evaluation by the coaches to help understand what he or she can do to improve throughout the year.
Horseback Riding with Louisville Equestrian Center
Grades 2-6 • June 16-20
Enjoy fun filled days of games, activities and lessons centered around horses while learning the fundamentals of horsemanship and horse care. Campers of all levels of riding experience are welcome.
The Mighty Titan Mud Run/Fitness Fun Camp
Grades 1-8 • August 4-8 | Instructor Nicole Tegeler
Monday through Thursday campers will participate in age appropriate training sessions, culminating in a fun mud run on Friday. The training sessions will incorporate balance, core, speed, strength, endurance, flexibility and injury prevention lessons to prepare the ultimate fit kid for our Mighty Titan Youth Obstacle Mud Run.
4Kicks for Kidz
Grades 1-5 • June 16-20
This soccer camp will provide a safe environment for your kids to learn and grow their physical skills as well as their soccer skills. This camp is ideal for beginner and intermediate players.
JCC Tennis at Springhurst Tennis Club
Grades 1-3 • July 28-August 1 | Grades 4-6 • July 21-25
The Tennis Club at Springhurst will offer young tennis players a chance to learn, improve, make new friends and have fun with the game of tennis! Campers will be instructed by experienced coaches in a positive manner. The camp focuses on the fundamentals of strokes, rallying, strategy and footwork combined with game-based learning. Campers will also learn court position, scoring and overall athletic skillsets.
Mocking Bird Soccer Camp
Grades 1-5 • June 30-July 3 (No camp July 4)
Through a fun and creative method of teaching/coaching, Mockingbird Valley Sports Complex (MVSC) staff will introduce many of the basic/fundamental skills to campers, including passing/receiving, dribbling to escape from pressure, dribbling to change directions, ball striking and more! Camp will take place at the JCC.
